This fire engine chose to cut me up at the roundabout. It redeemed itself when it slowed down long enough for me to take this photo.

Seen 10:30 Sunday morning close to the Gemini Centre. Fire engine + ladder unit. No idea what was happening though.
My seven year old granddaughter Gillian's class is working on a story about a character named Flat Stanley. Stanley gets hit by a bulletin board and is flattened. This makes it possible for him to travel all over the place in an envelope. Gillian asked me to take pictures of him having adventures, and here he is at the local fire station. More to follow.
Some of our brave Fire and Rescue parked up while doing checks around my area. Amazing people. Had a play with B&W&Colour and it looks better on a black background I think.

1.30 am on a wet Wednesday the fire alarm wakens everyone in Juries Inn, Glasgow. Everyone out from all 10 floors, wish I'd thought to take a photo of the crowd huddled under the Central Station bridge.
Hope the girls who set it off got a big fine... this is one of the three fire engines that arrived pretty sharpish.
Then trudged back up 9 floors...
