Originally a mid-scale trial truck chassis equipped with L motor and servo, evolved after many unsuccesful tests manually steered truck with relicts of motorisation - for example, the axles - unnecessarily complicated front axle, and gears in the rear.
Live axles suspension with rather low travel.
The another fun feature is 8454 inspired arm and openable doors and boxes on sides.

Two of the the official Lego fire sets this year are based on a snorkel design. This inspired me to make my own.
About this creation Yes, I realize that most American fire departments don't use snorkel trucks anymore, but since I was a kid I thought they were awesome and have wanted to make one. The boom is entirely self supporting at many angles. The boom itself features some of the details Lego didn't have on their versions. I included piping running up the boom and oxygen tank on the right side.
