Even though you can't really see his face that clearly, I was still drawn to this shot of singer Scott Anderson.

Control. It's extraordinary the tactics people employ to obtain it. Some rely on deception. While others engage in outright trickery. Then there are those who resort to extortion. Why do we fight so hard for control? Because we know to lose it is to put our fate in the hands of others. And what could be more dangerous?

A photo of Scott Anderson, vocalist of Finger Eleven, and I taken outside of Trees in Deep Ellum, in downtown Dallas. If you haven't heard the first 2 albums, I'm sad for you. (see below)
1. Finger Eleven - Tip
(excerpt from Temporary Arms);
"...replace the name replace the fear,
i can't come out but i want you here,
i"m laughing now and then it floods,
but not out loud..."
2. Finger Eleven - The Greyest of Blue Skies
(excerpt from For The Ocean);
"...It's like waiting for the ocean,
To save you from the waves,
When you're so far under,
Silent,
Never moving..."

Here's my view from the Finger Eleven set at Buzzfest 2007 in Houston. It was a bad ass set! I've never seen them live, but they put on a good show... too bad they were on the side stage.
