Great additions to the backyard shed. Found outside Marietta Ohio along County Road 4.

oooooh...this is soooo beautiful! I do believe that I will dangle some fabulous stained glass, crystals and bobbles from it and hang it over my kitchen sink (high ceiling, no light = perfect!) so that light from the two corner windows there can catch the sparklies and fill my kitchen with fun!

I'm hoping it'll make doing the dishes a little less boring!

Kaela stumbled across this Green Bay West High School Yearbook. It is still called West Hi-Way to this day! I graduated from there in 2002. My younger brother is still a student there.

Flea market finds.

I had an chance to wander around Whidbey Island on Sunday, where among a dozen other thrift store finds I came across this original Cooties box. Weirdly, I'd actually been inspired to keep my eyes open for one just earlier in the day at a different thrift store, finding there a copy of Don't Break the Ice. Confluence and all that...

It's rather shabby, but I love the colors and the design of this needlepoint. Paid $1 fo it!

This was an unusual find and I still don't know what it is - its almost like a separate bogie on a wooden framed wagon, which makes it exceptionally old but there aren't meant to be any bogie wagons here at Omoto. Perhaps an early imported 4-wheel wagon of a distinctive type? Omoto, 30th March 2013

Bruno Senna's Williams finds it's way back to the pits after an off during Formula One Winter Testing at Circuit de Catalunya in March 2012

Did not pick too much up this time, some carrots and little sweet onions that I will roast along with a whole chicken and fingerling potatoes tonight for dinner and a beautiful tomato that I will slice and enjoy with some herbed goat cheese for lunch.

Tomato: .70

Carrots & Onions: $3

Madeleine McCann is a young girl of 4years of age abducted from her hotel room in Portugal in the early part of May 2007. She is still missing at June 13th 2007. The yellow ribbbon has become the symbol of a commitment to find her and have her restored to her parents. This bag was taken in a Scottish play park and belongs to a mum with a daughter of similar age. See www.findmadeleine.com

Aloha Airlines IS NO MORE!!! , Aloha airlines cups.

Bit of a surprise find here, as I was told the yard was cleaned out years ago! This will also be my last rusty car photo for the next 3 weeks, as our family are participating in the 2013 Pork Pie Charity Run travelling the length of the country! Are visiting a few museums and also the holy grail of rusting treasures - Horopito Motors! See you all in 3 weeks with many more amazing finds from that other island

There was a giant neighborhood yard sale this weekend in an area in Memphis called Poplar Estates. Over 50 homes participated- it was exciting, tiring and overwhelming but worth it. I only took $10 with me to see how I could make out and did really well. After all I got, I still came home with $4. A lady that was overwhelmed after her father in law died had to stash all his things into their garage, and she had soooo much Christmas stuff. I was elated to find the vintage Christmas. She said I could fill a box with whatever I could get in it and she would give me a price when I was done. I got the box load for only $6.

Too much plastic and styrofoam. When the shovel hits the plastic, it makes a strange sound. Sounds like a sick bird. I'm used to the clang of it hitting a bottle.

Here we have a Dutch Treats cigar pack, a Cheetos goosebumps bag and a Atlantic Community College pen.

Now...what do I do with this mountain of styrofoam?

I needed some extra motivation to catch the last two guys on the Winston climb.

Liberty magazine from August 15, 1942. The U.S.A. is in the midst of WWII.

This has been on my photography bucket list for a long time. Thrilled I got treated to a great sunset last night at Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Un touched photo from a hike last summer.
