9th December 2005 was a sad day for many London bus enthusiasts, seeing the end of the last proper route being operated by Routemasters. Here the last journey enters Brixton garage, fighting its way through the massive crowds, heavily protected by police.
Having walked much of the northern part of the route earlier in the morning, taking photos along the way, I arrived at Brixton about 90 minutes before the last bus was due, and despite requests from the police, managed to maintain my position on the raised central reservation, to give me extra height, which I think made for one of the better photos I've seen of this occasion.

There's something about night scenes, which if captured well, makes for some really interesting photos. The lights at Piccadilly Circus are bright enough to suitably illuminate this passing Routemaster, and I think creates a really good sense of the evening atmosphere here.

The image series Everything is Against You (2014) are non-functioning ominous vacant scenes that question more than they answer.
Spaces void of people draw attention to the surroundings that encapsulate them. They are evidence of a seemingly unquestioned containment that lead to a looping conformity that is required to function in everyday life. These cavernous spaces have a sense of uncertainty when devoid of the reason for their very existence.
This in turn questions the trace left behind on the landscape. Whether it is innocuously fleeting or perpetually foreboding, what does the future hold for these entropic constructions of self-containment?

Part of my University Degree Show Project at Staffordshire University, looking at portraits of Dogs - including the landscape as well as just the dog. I'd love to hear your feedback on these images as I want to get them spot on ready to be hung for my degree show. I'm taking inspiration from paintings of landscapes as well as specific dog photographers and photographs.

With the whirlwind that is the final year of university, it feels good to be back home for the first time since early January and de-stress a little with cuddles from this little guy.
Trashing is one of Oxford University's more recent traditions. When final year students complete their final exam and emerge from the Examination School their friends are there to greet them with shaving foam, powder paint, glitter, Prosecco and the occasional egg.

The image series Pokémon Should've Been On relates to the question of fate and to whether or not it is an acceptable method of understanding a situation. The title refers to a childhood television show that was interrupted by 9/11 coverage.
The images form a pattern of life itself in all its intricacies. Shared experiences undeniably link in a formative narrative of probability. The mind’s understanding of what senses lead to the acceptance of a situational interpretation as truth supports this notion.
The interrogation of the psychology responsible for this in a given situation has the ability to compliment and conflict, each viewer walks away with a different interpretation of what they have perceived.

The image series That’s my Real Name (2014) constitutes surveillance in the face of apparent anonymity that is not necessarily the case.
It would appear from the surveillance view that the images form a pattern. Fate is questioned as an acceptable method of understanding a situation. The mind’s understanding of what senses lead to the acceptance of a situational interpretation as truth can also be an inhibitor.
