Finalizing the commission sketch. Making something for someone else who has an idea that they can see in their head that they want you to create...makes me uber nervous.

The final day started with the plenary session on guiding principles for global youth policy development. This session addressed principles that should guide &inform youth policy development, implementation and monitoring at local, national, regional and global levels.
Following the plenary session, regional sessions explored how the common denominators and guiding principles discussed throughout the Forum could be translated into regional contexts. Another finalized shot of Elle from the other day. Love the eyes and facial expression! Plus the contrast turned out nicely. I added a light blue gradient layer to the B&W image to touch up on the background and bring full emphasis to her.

Dress finalized. It's done in a peruvian stitch throughout. Therefore I will name the design after the Incan people.
I may continue on this tradition and name each design after a different ancient civilization.
I've decided my dresses will be hyper limited. Because my hands hurt. Mostly for gifts and exchanges. I've come to the conclusion that designing for blythe is NOT my million dollar idea. I'll leave that to people like Eurotrash and Button Arcade... Kudos ladies!
More designs to come... I hope!
p.s. it also looks like orecchiette pasta...

Finalizing the design required lots of eyeballing and turning squares around and swapping squares out until we were satisfied.
