The famous mech from Final Fantasy IV and XIV was made with LEGO, no custom parts. Many parts are from the LEGO set 10375 "How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless". Who can say no to the steampunk and magic? The building instruction is available in Rebrickable.

Cloud and Aerith see Tifa, in a Chocobo carriage, being taken to Don Corneo. Cloud wants to rescue her, but Tifa convinces him that she will be able to gain valuable intel this way. Aerith later convinces Cloud to continue on to Wall Market and sneak into Don Corneo's to help aid Tifa yet still give them a chance at the intel.
This is one of the few times I have gone back and revisited the same subject in a build. The original version was built in a few hours in 2020 for Day 2 of Rebellug's Vignette Week Contest.
I have since seen the original carriage available for sale from knockoff companies who stole my design. At first I thought about making instructions available for my original design, but I quickly realized that I might as well update it. This new version is much more accurate and proportionally correct. It has a full interior and benefits significantly from the extra design time. Instructions available on Rebrickable.
Most of you have already seen these in separate pics, but never together. So I figured a "family photo" was in order. These are creatures from the FF world, and have also become iconic within the series itself. Think you can name them all?

Final Fantasy IX celebrates its 25th Anniversary today. The game starts with Vivi exploring the city of Alexandria with his ticket to see the play "I Want to Be Your Canary" being performed in honor of Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII's 16th birthday.
Final Fantasy IX was released on July 7th 2000 and was the last Final Fantasy game released for the original PlayStation. It is a fantastic game and easily in my top 3 favorites of the franchise. This particular scene has been one I've wanted to build for a couple of years. When I noticed the 25th Anniversary was approaching I made it a priority to get finished on time.

Cutter
Only authorized personal walk the halls of Shinra Mako Reactors. Sweeper and Cutters are autonomous antipersonnel weapons manufactured by Shinra's Advanced Weaponry Division. These mechs are part of the reason why Shinra facilities are so secure. Both Sweepers and Cutters can move surprisingly quick. They can smash into an opponent knocking them down, at which point they will try to stomp on them. The Sweeper features machine guns and flame throwers. Cutters feature two enormous saw blades which are used in most of its attacks.
In [ ν ] – εγλ 0007 AVALANCHE encountered Sweeper and Cutter mechs while infiltrating Mako Reactor 5.
Did I ever tell that Final Fantasy is the only console game I ever loved to play? :)

Lightning is a playable character and the main protagonist in Final Fantasy XIII. She is the second female protagonist in the main series; the first being Terra Branford of Final Fantasy VI. She wields a gun-sword that can switch between its forms. She is shown to be a cold person, who distances herself from her companions.
