Definitely a challenge for me. Had to think about this one a few days. The challenge is completely out of character for my smurfies. The goal was to create a dark, sinister look. Hope you like it.

Note: I used Topaz Adjust/Film collection/Lomo II. This darkened the edges and corners and reduced detail. I then changed the photo to grayscale. Too much of Smurfette's hair details were removed in this process, so I had to copy/paste her hair back.

  

The black one is made by Ernst Plank (F239), the red one has no manufacturer's label (F238). The lens looks like Jean Schoenner's lenses.

It's hard to believe these are Disney's play line dolls. They're so gorgeous!

I picked up this set in February and I loved it but didn't fully appreciate it until after I saw the film. These dolls are superb quality and worth the $70 price tag and more.
