The figs are already starting to form. Fig trees are really cool trees. They are almost bush like but are trees. The have many sprawling branches and huge leaves. This is in my backyard.

A mighty arboreal eruption.

This is how you can tell when the figs are ripening: they redden and eventually darken to purple.

Big figtree at my friend's house in Frankfurt. It has hundreds of figs on it and they taste so sweet.
