Taken 3 years ago whilst staying at St Andrews. I got up early one morning and took a short 20 minute drive to St Monans. I wasn’t expecting any decent conditions, but the closer I got the sky got better and better!

Have a great evening
Thank you for stopping by xxx
The skies were a bit hazy from the fires burning created a misty and almost mystical sunset that was fun and interesting to try and frame with the silhouetted trees in the foreground. Would make for a neat painting as well.
Saw and took pic of this fiery sunset while I was getting ready for a stilt-walking performance near Suntec City.

Cronulla Beach - a surfer entering the water with his surfboard to catch his first wave at sunrise.
Have a great weekend!
There are traditional type sunset scenes... and then there are those unusual sun orb scenes that I am always on the outlook for... down by the riverdock at sunset... the soft orangey glow was like looking up at someone or something with one eyeball looking down at us... fascinating!
Colorado Springs is amazing with its natural landscapes beauty. Graden of the God is in the outskirts of Colorado Springs and can be seen on the way to Pike Peaks. This place is filled with people, constantly. I wanted a tribute photo to this place without any people or as little as it can be in the photos. I waited patiently for the right time and then I was able to take few photos.
Garden of the Gods is home to a plethora of geological and ecological rarities that make the park a prime site for nature lovers.
The garden's red rock formations were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. Archaeological evidence shows that prehistoric people visited Garden of the Gods about 1330 BC. At about 250 BC, Native American people camped in the park; they are believed to have been attracted to wildlife and plant life in the area and used overhangs created by the rocks for shelter. Many native peoples have reported a connection to Garden of the Gods, including Apache, Cheyenne, Comanche, Kiowa, Lakota, Pawnee, Shoshone, and Ute people.

Close to my house and out of my office window, since I am working virtually, I spotted this sunrise, Needless to say, I put my camera to work.

These intense sunset colors are a rare occurrence in our area, and it was an absolute delight to watch from our roof deck. I barely had time to grab my camera, climb to the roof and snap some photos before the colors faded out. The sight was almost otherworldly, the photo did not require any post-processing.
The quietude and vastness of the mudflats, the reflections and the incredible pre-sunrise colours were not of this world.
