A couple months ago my truck was broken into and my bag stolen. In my bag were two of my Field Notes notebooks. One was labeled "Adventure Notes" and it had directions to all the local parks and places my kids liked to hang out, where we would go on adventures together. The other had all of my brewing notes and recipes. It was a horrible loss. The new set from my Field Notes Colors Subscription was the perfect opportunity for me to replace and even one up my previous set. Now to fill them up again...

We got Charlotte the current "Summer Camp" edition for Christmas, before they were widely available. She wents nuts for them and demanded that they be openned immediately. The pencils weren't sharp, though. She likes to dig into my shirt pocket and color in my Field Notes with her crayons or my "notepen."

Mein Dad hatte immer so einen Bleistift in der Tasche, wenn er mal wieder irgendwas getischlert hat, ein Bild aufhängen musste oder irgendwas markieren musste. Diese platten Bleistifte sind auch schlicht perfekt, egal wo sie liegen, sie rollen nicht weg und ein Werkzeugkoffer ohne Zimmermannsbleistift ist wie Zoll ohne Stock – sinnlos! In seiner Werkstatt findet man heute noch diverse Zimmermannsbleistifte.
