STEM center Makerspace 125 kept its doors opened while providing both a Make and Take event and a respite from Tropical Storm Harvey, which was pouring lots of rain that day. That day Makerspace 125 provided a hands-on activity where it encouraged people to make Fidget Spinners from K'NEX building toys.

Yarn purchased in a wonderful little yarn shop in Scarsdale, NY that I got to spend about 10 minutes in before hurrying back to the transplant hospital in Westchester County. I modified the pattern slightly adding an quick picot edging. Bamboo buttons from my stash. Yarn shop - sticks and strings.
