We took Spirit out for the first time today, she was good as gold. I think she is going to be a very natural retriever as she brought her treat pot back to Graham every time he threw it :-)

She has already learnt sit, down, come and we are working on wait (all for food of course)

Budda with his new toy.

Her new favorite game. She carries the stuffed mouse over and drops it at your feet. Says "mmrw?" like, "we playin'?" Will fetch it over and over again. When she's finally done she hides it behind a pillow.

Love his rubber ball

No one believes me when I say I had a cat that would 'fetch'. Well, here's the proof.

The blue thing is the tear-off seal from a jug of milk. When she was younger, she actually would go find it if I said "where's your blue thing?" or "where's your toy?". Of course, when she was younger , there was a lot more running, jumping, and bouncing off the walls.

We brought my brother's dog Desty to the park to play ball. She LOVES to run and fetch the ball. My brother has a ball thrower that helps give extra distance and she loved chasing down that ball. Except when she couldn't find it and just ran in circles.

Ohhhhh, it makes Buckley so GREEN with envy...!

Ben sometimes doesn't like to give more favored fetch toys - like this rubber stick - back. They're more fun to chew!

Sarge. I accidentally screwed up the exposure but it turned out pretty cool.

A rushed shot today :(

The dog wasn't happy with me as she wanted to play while I was rolling her ball around :)

There always seems to be an abundance of soccer balls at my house so Rio has learned to love them as well.

This photo also provides evidence as to why the puppy from yesterday could not have come home with us. The soccer ball is probably twice the size of that puppy. :)

Shonagh looking for her stick.

One day I'll take a sharp one of these. It's tricky when I have to throw the toy *and* grab the shot.
