This was the coolest dog ever. He's been out on the beach everyday with his family and he LOVES playing fetch and swimming. The kids were even riding waves in on his back like he was a dolphin!

Just another shot of Trinity playing fetch yesterday.

I took a burst of shots of the dog in the middle of the picture, and accidentally caught a game of fetch.

Cleo is 10, and she has arthritis and bad hips. She runs two miles with me in the morning, and she's a crazed ball chaser. She hobbles after these balls, and my heart breaks for her. It's clear she's in pain, but she won't stop chasing them and barks incessantly if you don't throw for her.

Sometimes dogs chase stuff that is way to big for them to catch. My question is always, what will they do when they get it? My tiny little dog used to chase / bark at birds that were much bigger than he was. It was funny.

What good is having a dog if you can't exploit him photographically?
