Try at least. Strong winds on the island transported the fine sand on Vlieland's beach, creating a spectacular effect. I wouldn't want to be in this dog's shoes (or height).
41/52 - green fetch. ball
this ball was tricky, not only didn't it stay in her mouth once slobbered up a little, as seen above, but when she ran off without seeing the throw and we lost it, it took us a good 5 minutes to find it in the wet green grass ... I'm the one that has to find it, despite her training ...
A very short video of me throwing the ball for Rio. The whistling is me encouraging him to fetch. He loves the exercise.
He is now walked twice a day, once in the morning around 7am and once at around 4pm, sometimes later at 6pm depending on the weather.
He has alternate walks to the field or to the park. If the field is too dredged (water logged) then the park is the best option.
Here's Toby enjoying a little fetch this afternoon. I'm enjoying a little more camera testing. I notice that the 5D Mark II doesn't focus as fast as the 7D, but I don't think it's a deal breaker. I'm pretty sure I'll be selling the 7D now.

Another shot from Charlotte's camera. Caught out without my Canon, I borrowed it to use the autofocus to try to get wee Jet here on the run; much as I love my Praktica, the manual focus isn't the best for action shots.
Blackberry Summer by Theresa Fetch of Uvalde, Texas. The quilt was quilted on cotton sateen, bound, and then hand-dyed. The Shiva paintstik was then applied. Original design
Note from Susan Lenz: I generally don't like Shiva paintstiks used on quilts. I find the marks too obvious, not integrated into the design ... just "on the surface" for "sparkle". This, however, was a perfect application and use. Totally brilliant! I loved this piece.
Playing with my new Mac Book Pro. Thanks Santa! So amazingly fantastic, almost as cool as my cat who plays fetch. He just started doing it one day.
He is also a vegetarian - although he does eat some meat cat cookies, but not raw meat. He sits in the garden nibbling on the lettuce and silverbeet, loves water, sleeps in a people's bed and is generally pretty weird.
And now I am a cat lady.
Stick here I come!
Bonnie darted towards the big tree trunk of a driftwood before she realised the enormity of it.
In a dribbling and speed activity, the kids need to go get the soccer balls before their parents can get to them.
Our yard is small, but the alley between us & our neighbour is quite long. It's a good run to use for a game of fetch.
