Willow- my son's 5 year old springer spaniel. Took them to a wet, muddy field- not sure who had the most energy after the shoot, but it definitely was not me....

Like People,Dog's have Attitudes too.

The only thing Emma loves more than playing with her ball is playing with her ball AND swimming!

Air hangs heavy, thick with the whispering shadow of Fetchling. This tangled forest of dilapidated oddities has been left for the shadowy echoes of those since Faded.

From the barren coast to oversized forest of trees towering impossibly skyward lurk Fetchling -- the half-living echoes of faded people, driven out of the inhabited parts of Unreality, aimless and wandering. Strange things lurk among Fetch Home; The few who choose to reside in this shadowed space have either tenacity, or something to hide...usually a great deal of both.

Tennis ball being thrown for a dog by its owner in a park.

It was such a hot, hot day and I was envying that dog that was having so much fun in the water. His owner kept throwing out a stick and that "lucky dog" got to run out and swim to retrieve it. Several times the owner tried to leave, but the dog refused to get out - he did not want to stop playing! Just watching them put a smile on your face.

I got the idea for this from a picture that I had seen somewhere on the interwebs, so it's not completely original... but mine has Sadie the Wonderdog! The desert scene is in Utah and the moon was shot last night.

Exercises like this help you with technique that you can use when processing your photos. Besides, it's fun. : )

The Legend of the Haunted Hallowdijk: Part 4 - The Barmaid

Fetch me a pint, lads, and I'll tell you what happens next. Now by this stage, people were starting to get spooked. You must understand, this was a small village. Less than 50 people. So while Hades, God of the dead, wasn't a stranger, he rarely visited that often. But something's always wrong when the landlord of the only pub in town has his head caved in.

Well, by popular demand, the place was given to the Widow Hagen to look after. Rumour said she was the old man's mistress anyway, so it only seemed fitting.

She did a decent enough job; kept everything running in basically the same way it had, tried to look after folks. But it was obvious things weren't the same. The heart had gone out of the place.

Everyone was terrified, wondering whether there would be more deaths or not.

And then, sad to say, Widow Hagen was next. Not brutal like the old man, just quiet, calm. One day she didn't open the Inn, and was found dead in her chamber. No signs of a struggle.

Well, soon enough, people stopped going out. Stayed clear of each other. Kept a weapon close at hand, and prayed every chance they got.

On Waiheke Island, New Zealand I had the privilege of walking this beautiful fella named 'Bilbo'. I was blown away by the sunset and scenery from the hill we walked up but Bilbo had eyes only for the ball in my hand. He made a nice subject to Photograph on this stunning evening.
