* I had to desaturate the water in post because it was just too yellow from the polarizing filter.

Testing first roll of Ferrania Solaris, a dirt cheap Italian film that the lovely Julia introduced me to. Gracias otra vez guapa! :) Estos son los colores tal cual.
This is the shot as it came out of the camera.
In the Seattle area, Ferrania Solaris is available--under the Kroger brand--in 200, 400 and 800 ISO, at Fred Meyer stores. Go get some today!

Colorful tile detail on the side of 5th & Madison, a brand new residential high rise in downtown Seattle, right next to the Seattle Public Library. There was a barely there bit of sun light shining on it.
Right after this shot, we crossed the street and went in the library where we took this photo.

I met Josh (aka Truth Breed) along side the road just outside of Evart, Michigan. He was hitchhiking without any particular direction. He rode along with me and my boys for about an hour before asking to be let out in some small town along the way. I asked him for a portrait after helping him unload his gear.
