Built sometime after the homestead act of 1868 this one room school was in operation up until 1958 when i got converted into feed storage and then converted into a number of other things over the years.
Night, near full moon, handheld light producing device set to aquamarine and a shot of white to fill in the shadows.
Another from the Sandbach Transport and Music Festival 2015. Ferguson amalgamated with Massey some time after this old beauty was made.

Ngawi is a small fishing village perched on the southern tip of the North Island. There is no protected harbour here, and the fishing boats are launched directly into the surf from their trailers with the help of some old, rusty tractors.

For the Ferguson owner there is only one shade of grey. All thoughts of the other 49 disappear when there is a ploughing championship and they can't wait to get in the furrow.
I had never been to a ploughing match before. But I did grow up on a farm where ploughing the fields was a very different affair. There seemed to be an unreasonable amount of measuring and adjustment, and flagrant cheating too. And not a sign that any of them had been drinking either. It left me rather bemused but glad that I took the opportunity to see another aspect of life. Perhaps I'm not that weird after all. Watching it all I had to wonder if the tractor had offered any advancement to agriculture. After all the two shire horses I saw at work were turning the soil faster than all those men on their tractors
