While visiting my daughter in Texas one of my Grandsons had a field trip to the Crocodile Encounter. My daughter and I decided to go and see what it was all about and try to catch a glimpse of my Grandson. We all had a fun time and the weather was fantastic. I even held a snake and a baby alligator! They had lots more animals then just Gators and Crocs!
Happy Fence Friday and hope you too have a laid back weekend!
As I was leaving the beach from my sunrise captures there at the Ocean City Fishing Pier, this view caught my eye with the late morning shadows being cast on the dune, fence, and pier.
May have to try this one in B&W too.
Unpredicted snow here at home last Saturday. A most pleasant surprise and the first snow of 2020.
HFF!

I guess the hashtag was invented in the old Norway 😁
These fences have been in use in prehistoric time and there has been notifications about them at least since the 1700

I took the opportunity this afternoon to go for a walk in the Lincolnshire wolds around the village of Rothwell. It was one of those afternoons where there was lots of blue sky but the sun only came out for about 5 minutes in the whole 3 hours I was out - not good for photography. Anyway, I love these old fashioned fences, of which there are loads round there.
All my black and white shots are in this album:-

Took this a couple of weeks ago with the Fence Friday theme in mind - I really like the lines, the perspective which takes you towards the silhouette of the trees and hedge in the distance.
Fence of beauty, you fill my land
You guard the wonder of Gods hand
That i see with my eyes
Underneath the blue, blue, skies
You do kiss the trees you meet
That do kneel, at your feet
As you walk across the green
Guarding the beauty, forever seen
Over the fence and far away
Where sweet love, will one day play
