Looking across Little Langdale to Lingmoor Fell in the Lake District National Park, England

The Lake District is so spectacular. If only it wasn't an 8 hour drive, I'd be there every weekend!

The fell between Howe Grain and Boredale..

Another shot from Pavey Ark.. rain to the right..

Sunshine & shadows on the Coniston Fells, a view from Brim Fell looking North, Lake District, Cumbria.

Off to the Lakes for a week tomorrow! :-) Been a bit too much sun and colour in the last few shots so here's a moody shot from the Summit of Low Fell looking up Buttertemere.

A beautiful sunrise over Lingmoor Fell in the Lake District. 🌄 The rolling hills and rocky paths create a perfect backdrop for a morning hike. Lingmoor Fell is known for its breathtaking views over Great Langdale, especially when the early light touches the surrounding peaks.

Had a little drive out to Lazonby for the sunrise this morning but it was far to crisp and clear. But managed a few shots of the valley with mist rising above the river.

A fell is as a mountain or moor-covered hill.

Fell View

Its the start of September and for me this is when the good weather and conditions begin, nice light and misty mornings.

I fancied a wee wander not really knowing what I was looking for so headed to Wanfell near Plumpton. A good layer of heather and bracken over the fells, but some really gorgeous warm light made it for me.

Wonderful autumnal conditions arrived after a patient wait up on Oxen Fell.

There were so many beautiful scenes to be had, I was in my element!
