I feel so much better after making my Blue Monday, Blue Banana muffins! Being in a bit of a "funk" the past few days, I whipped up these cakey, sweet banana muffins to lift my spirits. In paying homage to the song "Blue Monday" by New Order, I tinted the batter blue to match the mood.
Day 152:
All I have been doing lately is thinking about myself. How I want to be happy. How I want to be okay. This makes me feel so selfish and I hate that because I am not usually a selfish person. This also makes me feel guilty because I do not think I should spend so much time thinking about myself. I want so badly to 'inspire' someone. I really just want to make someone feel better, but I am way to involved with myself right now and I can't let go.
Too much wanting. I hate wanting.

Last night he wasnt feeling well, ultimately throwing up AFTER having diarrhea. Honestly I think he ate something he shouldn't have at the park.
An entire night of monitoring by dad and some more rest today, he seems to be almost back to par.
Sometimes its amazing how a little bit of love can make almost anything better.
My Advice:
Next time you aren't feeling good, mentally or physically, have some diarrhea, throw up and then spend the night snuggled up with someone you love.
(kidding about the diarrhea/throwing up part).
after being a good girl & remembering to take medications accurately for four days i slipped. busy mornings. go to work. take a nap. fill out fafsa. submit taxes. watch destination truth. shower. sleep.
i hope you feel better Chris and Joyce and with each new day it brings you better health and more blessings then you all can contain. i love you , and wish you better health tomorrow then today. and each day bring you closer to perfect health.

I have been ill today. For some reason, I was up half the night being sick :(
I don't know if it was something I ate, or a bug. When I woke up this morning, I felt dreadful and had to take the day off, of which I have spent most of it in bed.
I decided to have a shower, and now I feel a lot better :)

T is sick...he's had a dry cough for two days now. Late this afternoon he didn't look good and his lungs are retracting. I will wait it out tonight. Tomorrow may have a drs. visit in store for us.

The mailman knocked on my door today, when I answered he handed me a package. I saw it was from Texas so I knew right away it was from you! I opened it and what did I see . . . a bag full of owls just for me. Can not wait to use the stamp and all the other goodies. Thank you my friend, this made my day a lot happier.
Doctor's orders: "Take one 3x a day for 2 days then come back if you're not better." I love how pharmacies here pack prescribed medicine!

Now when I look at the same scene, it is far from what I first saw it as. The sky is unfilled, depressing, and illusory. The leaves are bare promises filled with nothing but trickery. The long branches are rigid, desiccated pieces of putrid wood. Spine chilling bugs creep at the bottom of the disintegrating tree, eating away at the roots, sucking out all the water down below, to slaughter off the tree for the last time. My mind reacts to the sight and I cannot think of any words that can describe the image. I am left without anything. I am a mislaid girl running up and down the neighborhood streets looking for her vanished terrier.
