This Marbled White was busy flitting from flower to flower feeding along Fenn Creek, but I managed to grab a shot! Shame about the grass stalk through the middle of the shot, but never mind!
As the holidays approach, especially this Thanksgiving, remember to give thanks for all you have and those you have in your life. For those of us without family, and those of us who suffer from depression, the holidays are a difficult time to contend with. Wishing you and those you love a happy, healthy and Blessed Thanksgiving.♥

It is feeding time at Eagle watch this morning. Glad to report that we have one healthy baby in the nest. Seems to have a very good apetite for a little one!
As I do every so often, I have posted the exact same image as yesterday's post, but this one is processed more realistically than that soft and nostalgic image.
I have also flipped it horizontally just for fun.
Which one between the two do you prefer? Or do you like them equally?
Many photographers don't enjoy time spent on processing their images. Not true about me. I love every minute of it, creating lots of variations for almost every image. It fulfills my need to create, and now that I'm retired, I have a lot more time to enjoy my photography :)
Feeding time again.
Starlings are rearing their first young ones here and are constantly busy finding them food.

Macro Mondays contribution for 6 Feb 2017 - "Say Cheese"
I hate cheese. Can't stand it. But this is an idea I have had for quite some time and I thought this was the best opportunity to actually try it out. The idea being to keep your mouse well fed!
(01/365) I have 2 of these bird feeding stations in the garden & they are both very busy today (better viewed Large). Great Tits, Greenfinches, House Sparrows & Goldfinches are vying for the popular Sunflower Hearts. Thankfully I have found a local supplier where I can buy a 25kg sack for just €25 which lasts them about a month. We have bright sunshine with blue skies but there's a biting North wind. The birds must know there is a cold snap due. Happy New Year to all my wonderful Flickr friends.
My first photo for my 2017 : one photo each day group, if you fancy a daily photo challenge this is the group to join :)
