An MBTA geometry extra passes Hoxie Pond in East Sandwich, MA on the Cape Main. In tow, is the DOTX 216, an ex-Amtrak Metroliner car, now fitted inside with track geometry scanners and computers, used to test the integrity of the rails. This train is making a visit to make sure the right-of-way is in sufficient enough condition to have the seasonal summer trains, the CapeFLYER, run as fast and safely as possible, from Boston to Hyannis.

On the FedEx ramp outside Hangar 11, an MD10-30F is loaded for a flight to Austin, Texas. The MD11F next door will layover until the following day.
