It's been a sunny day that Sunday, I was quite surprised to see fog appearing at night. So, I took a walk through the neighbourhood hoping for at least a few good photos. I got properly cold and properly tired, I hope it was worth! Early February 2018.

In the lowlands of the Department of Caquetá, Colombia. The brilliantly colored Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber) is unmistakable. They inhabit the coastal waters and inland wetlands in tropical South America and the Caribbean. It was once considered a subspecies of the familiar White Ibis of North America, but has ultimately been classified as a separate species.
Get the feeling that if you sit on the left hand side of the bench, you'll end up on the right hand side!

This is St Lawrence church in Scunthorpe. The oldest (well part of it is) church in the town. It's had some additions built onto it over the last 100 years but either way, it still makes a nice view in the February snow.
One of the best places to see snowdrops in the UK is your local churchyard. Nearly all churches - especially the traditional 'village church' - have a variety of flowers growing. Snowdrops and Crocus through to daffodils and bluebells. Your local church could be an ideal location for your camera.
One of the houses that I pass by quite often was up for sale some time ago. It has been bought and the new owners have had quite a lot of work done, mostly very tastefully done too.
Other than the fence looks a bit temporary. Not sure if it's the one that they're going to keep or when all the work is finished change it too.

February 10, 2018, at Mocoa, Putumayo, Colombia. This is an Eastern Wood-Pewee (Contopus virens). A winter migrant from North America,
Mom keeps a close eye on her new foal, while another female, perhaps an older sibling, seems quite content to help out. He is all legs and quite precious. Although, probably no more than a day or so old, he still breaks into running in circles with his mother at the center. When standing, his is legs are a bit wobbly and he takes frequent breaks laying in the grass on the hillside. Having the opportunity to see wild horses is a thrill. This band doesn’t seem to mind human presence and getting to observe them this close is an honor. #WildHorses
Florencia, Department of Caquetá, Colombia.
The Chestnut-fronted Macaw (Ara severus) or Severe Macaw (Ara severus) is fairly common throughout the lowlands of northern South America that includes portions of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, northern Bolivia, Amazonian Brazil, and Panamá. It's about 45 cm (18 in) in length.
Traffic Light trails at Cornelscourt, Dublin, Ireland.
I took one of my first car light trail photos from this bridge in Cornelscourt back on 9 December 2013, two months after getting my first DSLR.
Taking this latest photo proved to be challenging. Due to traffic lights there were gaps in the traffic flow in both directions.
Especially when they are dark & damp like today! Fallow deer doe sticking her tongue out at me in Golders Hill Park.
The Yellow-rumped Cacique (Cacicus cela) is a relatively large colorful Icterid that breeds in northern South America. The male is about 28cm (11 inches) in length while the female is smaller at about 24 cm (9.6 inches) in length. The Yellow-rumped Cacique is easily identified by its light colored bill, striking blue eyes, and bright yellow rump and wing epaulets that make strong contrast against the black plumage. It is a colonial breeder with up to 75 individual hanging nests in a single large tree.
This bird prefers open woodland with scattered large trees and has benefited from deforestation. They are common from sea level to about 1,000 meters or 3,300 feet although I have seen them at 1,500 meters. Their diet consists of large insects and fruits.
I'm not sure if I'm going to continue the Happy sunroom Sunday idea, as there doesn't seem to be very much interest in it.
But here's one for today which I took yesterday and really liked.
