Feb 9 Photo a day. Word for the day was front door. From my front door you can see the busy street in front of my house, the for sale sign in the front yard, the neighbors trash cans across the street.
This is the "card" I made for my boyfriend for Valentines Day.
When he pulled on the string with the little heart, all the other hearts (as well as all the confetti) came out of the envelope and told him, how much I love him!

#febphotoaday Day #3 - Hands
I use my hands everyday cooking. Sometimes after a long day I like to use my hands to relax with a good cigar. like today for example... sitting on the Balcony listening to the rain smoking a very tasty "Rocky Patel Edge Sumatra"
I don't work on Wednesdays so this where I spent a good amount of time this morning cutting up vegetables for salads this week.
way too many of my self portraits involve a bathroom mirror, so i decided to take it outside today. even pulled out the tripod and remote!
this is some neighbor I don't know snowblowing a different neighbor's driveway. I'm not leaving the house in this weather to get a better shot!
Photobomb! At a luau in Hawaii, my hostess/BFF since 2nd grade was taking a self-portrait. I still can't believe she didn't see me when she snapped the photo.
(It doesn't show well in this photo of photo, but my tongue is tinged with Blue Hawaiians. Hence my brattiness? Also, I don't know why my teeth look all crazy; they're really not *that* imperfect.)
Wherever I looked this morning, there was sunshine. Bright and sparkling sunshine, which made my gold glittering paper christmas tree glitter even more!
How to take part in February photo-a-day:
1. Using the list as inspiration, take a photo each day.
2. Share it on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #FEBphotoaday. You can also share on your blog or on Facebook … or even keep the photos privately for yourself.
3. Check out other people’s photos and like them or comment on them.
Note: The list is purely for inspiration, however you interpret the daily prompt is up to you. There are no hard and fast rules. For instance for day 22, if you don’t officially ‘work’ and are a mum or looking for work – then show something that you consider to be work (or a chore perhaps). It doesn’t have to be office stuff … it’s as loose as you want or need it to be. Just have fun and enjoy!

Guess my star-sign! ;P
Part of the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland above the Williams Street entrance to the former Melbourne Mint.
The Melbourne Mint was a branch of the British Royal Mint, and officially opened for business in 1872. It closed in 1970, and the sole remaining building now houses the Hellenic Museum and Mint Bar and Restaurant.
On a page dedicated to this building, the National Trust of Australia laments the fact that the portico has been painted. Must admit I'm not a fan of the lion's red manicure either...
