The theme for Feb photo a day for today was "makes me happy". This is our dog Delilah. She sheds hair all over our house, she messes up our bed when we go out, she asks me to let her put her out at least 100 times a day. But she makes me happy every single day.

When I woke up this morning, I had no particular plan for my "green" photo. I was certain that I'd see something green that would inspire me. I went out for dinner and was despairing because it was already evening and I had nothing. Then as I pulled into the garage I looked at my car's instrument panel...thank you Toyota!

If I watch my spending, one day I will be able to buy a green plastic house...

(Sometimes, I feel like I'm not earning real money.)

I went to do some errands at the local mall, and I remembered that I needed to take my pic of the day. So I went around taking pictures of stores and logos that were blue.

Leftover Buffalo Sliders from the Super Bowl party last night and potatoes that needed to be used up.

Home made sauce with pasta. This time I added cinnamon. Came out so good!!!

this makes us happy...

i have a LOT of blue in my house and i took a LOT of pictures this morning. but i think this is one of my favorites.

This little guy is a little confused about the season. (The green is actually a weed, but the purple: That is a new shoot of chocolate mint that's just starting out.)

The only button of its kind in the old button tin.

(As a point of interest: On the left is a half-dollar sized mother-of-pearl button. Had a very hard time picking WHICH button picture to choose! My mother saves buttons before she throws away worn out clothes. So does her mother. So did her mother. I've always loved going through the button tin.)

Antarctic landscape. Oops I mean root beer float. #drink #febphotoaday

Day 10 - Self Portrait #febphotoaday copying Dash Drum

Sprained my ankle must stay in bed for at least 4 days! This is me trying to look on the bright side.

This is the view I had upon greeting my son after daycare and cupcakes. :)

A cold glass of water on a hot day...

Especially when brought to the table by a nice young man with a lovely smile.

Street art in Elliott Lane, Melbourne.

Funnily enough, found this image while shooting the Day 5 pic from the January challenge, which happened to feature my favourite skull scarf.

This was taken about 9 years ago. This was one of the few places where my son would fall asleep. My wife got this great shot while we were both sleeping.
