Week #52 -- Favorite images -- 52 in 2017
I'm going to follow Jim's example & choose two favorites for the year. One has to be of my longtime muse & companion Po, as there can be no more shots of her not already taken. And any favorite shot of her must involve water -- how she did love to swim! And how she always lifted my heart, coming in to me, wisdom & joy & grace in her sweet face.

With thunder showers forecast I didn't feel the need to sit under a tall pine tree and fish so we jumped in the hoopty and drove a few miles to visit the Bridgeport Covered Bridge across the South Fork of the Yuba River...Built in 1862 utilizing a unique combination truss and arch construction, it is one of the oldest housed spans in the Western United States and the longest single span, wooden covered bridge in the world...

As soon as the tree goes up, Xena sets up shop under it and stays there till it comes down.
For the first time, we have a fake tree this year, so I hope that means less chewing on it.
I just got my new camera today. I went out in the county to take some test shots. I'm always drawn to this place because it really is my favorite barn here in Kenosha County. Explore 2/6/08( #41) Thanks everyone!
