This beautiful domed ceiling is in the shop Fat Face Bournemouth. Once it graced a restaurant at the same address in the early 20th Century. It is a hidden gem and absolutely beautiful. #Bournemouth #hiddengem #TheNewCadenaCafe
Sadness is an emotional pain associated with, or characterised by, feelings of disadvantage, loss, despair, grief, helplessness, disappointment and sorrow. An individual experiencing sadness may become quiet or lethargic, and withdraw themselves from others.
Being sad is a normal reaction in difficult times. But usually, the sadness goes away. When a sad mood lasts for 2 weeks or more and interferes with normal, everyday functioning, you may be depressed.

Although Taunton didn't seem to have many Christmas lights this year there were some.

In Devon coastal town of Sidmouth, the Cinema Picture Palace opened, in premises that had previously been home to the Belle Vue restaurant, in either 1911 or 1912.
The cinema never converted to sound, and closed in 1929. The Knight family opened their family dress shop and drapers business in the building in 1938.
On making the necessary alterations, the family removed an artificial wall, and found the original plaster screen behind it. They also noted the date 1875 on a rafter, indicating the possible age of the building.
When I visited, in December 2001, Knights were still in occupation, and there were some lovely period decorative details inside. Sadly, due to retirement, the Knights store closed in May 2010. Plans were submitted to convert the upper floors into flats, leaving shop units on the ground floor, by 2017 operating a a clothing shop named FatFace. Information from Cinema Treasures

For this week's MM I spent ages setting up a cool scene with interesting lighting, trying to get it just right, and then I photographed my coat that was lying in the corner instead :D Classic MM Photoshoot.
So this is one of the shoulder fastenings on my coat.

Looking along Elmslac Close into the Market Place in Helmsley on the North Yorkshire Moors......................and for the ladies of discerning taste, Fatfaces has just opened on the left.
And for those that care little for fashion:
FatFace is a British lifestyle brand, based in Hampshire, which creates product ranges across women's, men's, kids, footwear and accessories. FatFace is a multichannel retailer, with an international digital business as well as over 180 stores in the UK.
The business was founded in 1988 in French ski resort Méribel by Tim Slade, a former policeman, and business graduate Jules Leaver. The pair bought T-shirts wholesale, had them printed with designs specific to the resort, and sold them to other skiers on the slopes - In 1993 they opened their first shop, on London's Fulham Road; they named it "FatFace" after the Face de Bellevarde slope in Val-d'Isère.

OK I missed his feet (always a risk with shooting from the hip) but I liked the image and the contrast between his clothing and the "fashion" store in the background.
Here in Wales the weather has turned decidedly Autumnal..!
..and I have a lovely autumn print dress to match the mood..!!
If I teamed this with some knee high boots and a long coat it would be perfect for a romantic autumn walk through the fallen leaves..🍂😘
Last of the summer sunshine??
Oh I do hope not but I'm enjoying time in the garden just in case..!!
I picked up this lovely summer maxi dress recently in the "Fat Face" sale.. 😊😘

I know it's not the sexiest of dresses, but damn it's comfortable!

This is in the lower pedestrianised section of Old Christchurch Road and is above the Fat Face shop. The premises was, for many years, owned by Athena book shop.
This is the tunic dress I wore the other day with jeans, this time I’ve paired it with black opaque tights and some nice Clarks heels, it does look better and gives me many more options as I have a few tunics in the wardrobe, I think this one is either FatFace or Seasalt, there’s no label to give me a clue.
Hope you like it, I was pleased.

I decided to venture out for a walk to the park this morning. The lake was half frozen and the birds were looking rather forlorn. I managed a few photos, I’m wearing my new puffa jacket, leggings and girly boots. Under the coat I was wearing a FatFace tunic dress.
Hope you’re keeping warm!

In keeping with my occasionally trying different looks this is one I tried a couple of days ago. I’ve had the fleece and cropped trousers for a while and my purchase of a FatFace top completed the outfit. I was very pleased with the nice feminine outcome! Hope you like it too!

A comfortable outfit for Sunday, I went out to lunch in a FatFace tunic top and some grey denim jeans. The top is quite pretty and the option of jeans was made with comfort in mind. I like the choice that my collection of dresses and ladies trousers gives me. The boots are nicely styled with a Cuban heel.
