This is also my practice panoramic shot. I stitched together 18 shots (cropped down to the equivalent of about 10). I used PTGUI. I'm using the Brenizer technique of trying to get shallow DOF.

CN M397 rolls at a steady pace past mile 15 of the Strathroy Subdivision with five offline DIT C40-8M locomotives in tow, destination/fate unknown at the time of writing. I've seen a number of the units in this train years ago, while they were still in service. This shot was just about as tight as it could get - 397 had taken a bit of time getting to where I was set up. The sun was long gone, covered by the clouds, but I wasn't wanting to give up - and shoved the ISO way open. For a shot like this, you take what you can get. It's not like I'll be seeing anything like it again any time soon.
