Eight Chinese supercar fanatics, six days, two Bugattis, one unforgettable journey. In late 2012 the stage was set for a road trip unlike any before – the Dragon Path Rally. An adrenaline-fuelled example of East meets West, the rally marked one of the first major organised events where a host of Chinese supercar fans travelled to the USA to showcase some of the world’s most iconic cars. Heads turned, jaws dropped and heartbeats raced as the rally took in five stunning locations on America’s West Coast. However the main attraction on show was clear, our very own majestic and powerful dragons – the Bugatti Grand Sport in stunning Italian Red and the Vitesse in Orange Eternal. Everywhere they stopped, crowds stared in disbelief as two of the world’s most exclusive, and elusive, supercars roared through the streets.

One of the five Bugatti Veyron SuperSport WRE (World Record Edition), out of 30 SuperSport in the world. This used to be a factory car this morning. The owner test-drove it the afternoon, and decided to buy it. So it now bears Qatari plates (europeanized), which used to be on the Maybach Xenatec (actually, they both have the same plates now lol)! What do you think of this incredibly rare mean machine?

There is one thing I love about building a RC technic supercar, and that is the placement of functions that would normally take up a gearbox location. It always allows axles and features to be run through the centre of the framework without all of the gears taking space. It allowed for a very unique door mechanism and left function very nicely under the engine. Another amazing Veyron! This time it's a grandsport with matte white finish and a dark blue mettalic paint on the down parts of the car. Notice the sexy rims? What else, seriously??!!

The Ferrari 575 was the fastest convertible car of its time. I created a rear wing option for this model as Novitec produced a custom wing for this unique ride. This design shares 71% of the parts with the Ford GT. This Bugatti Veyron was seized by french police in September 2011 due to what we call in France "l'affaire des biens mal-acquis", involving a few african officials.
You can also see a red Enzo and a yellow Porsche Carrera GT. Awesomish.
