Star of not one but two "Fast & Furious" films. Driven by actor Paul Walker in the first entry in the "Fast Saga," this car was used for multiple interior and exterior shots during the filming of 2001's "The Fast and the Furious" and 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious," according to the extensive documentation that accompanies the car and a Certificate of Authenticity.

The car was built by Eddie Paul at The Shark Shop in El Segundo, CA, for the first movie and brought back and modified by the original builder for its role as "Slap Jack's Supra" in the sequel. The Supra would later be returned to original form, with the resplendent Lamborghini Diablo Candy Orange pearl paint and famed Troy Lee-designed "Nuclear Gladiator" motif along the side. To complete the look, the Supra features a Bomex front spoiler and side skirts, TRD-style hood, APR aluminum biplane rear wing, and 19-inch Dazz Motorsport Racing Hart M5 Tuner wheels. This example is a factory turbo car powered by the famed 2JZ-GTE 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.

American actor Kurt Russell (1951) started his career as a child star in numerous TV series and Walt Disney Company films. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for his title role in John Carpenter's television film Elvis (1979) and five years later for a Golden Globe for his supporting role in Silkwood (1983). Russell worked repeatedly with directors John Carpenter and Quentin Tarantino.

Kurt Vogel Russell was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1951. He is the son of actor Bing Russell, known for his role as the sheriff on the TV Western Bonanza, and dancer Louise Julia (née Crone). His family relocated to California when he was a child, and Russell grew up in Thousand Oaks. Kurt appeared in the television series Sugarfoot as early as 1957. His film debut was the Elvis Presley vehicle It Happened at the World's Fair (Norman Taurog, 1961). He played a boy who kicked a pilot (Elvis Presley) in the leg. At twelve, he made his first major appearance as Jaimie McPheeters in the Western TV series The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters (1963-1964). The series also featured Dan O'Herlihy, Charles Bronson and the then very young Osmonds. In 1966, Russell signed a ten-year contract with Walt Disney Productions and acted in the films Follow Me, Boys! (Norman Tokar, 1966) with Fred MacMurray, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (Robert Butler, 1969), Now You See Him, Now You Don't (Robert Butler, 1972) and The Strongest Man in the World (Vincent McEveety, 1975).

Kurt Russell became the studio's top star of the 1970s. In 1970, he also recorded an unsuccessful pop album, 'Kurt Russell', for Capitol. After his experiences as a child star, he played baseball during the first half of the 1970s. He played second base on a minor league team for the California Angels (now the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim). After suffering a rotator cuff injury to one shoulder, he was forced to retire from the sport in 1973. He then turned his full attention back to acting. In 1979, he played Elvis Presley in the television movie Elvis (John Carpenter, 1979) in which his then-wife Season Hubley played Priscilla. This would transition Russell's Hollywood career after years as a child actor. It also led to a series of collaborations with director John Carpenter. AllMovie: "His next role as a sleazy used car salesman in Robert Zemeckis' hilariously caustic Used Cars (1980) allowed him to counter his wholesome, all-American nice guy image, and prove that he was an actor of untapped range. Director Carpenter recognized this and cast Russell as ruthless mercenary Snake Plissken in his brooding sci-fi/action film Escape From New York (1981). The role would prove to be one of legendary status and one that would cement Russell as a cult hero for generations to come. Carpenter also cast Russell as a scientist stranded in the Antarctic in his chilling 1982 remake of The Thing. Realizing that his characters were larger than life, Russell typically played them with a subtle tongue-in-cheek quality." Another success was Silkwood (Mike Nichols, 1983) with Meryl Streep and Cher. The success of that film helped him break into a more mainstream arena. In 1983, Kurt Russell fell in love with Goldie Hawn, while shooting Swing Shift (Jonathan Demme, 1984). The film flopped but the two have been a couple ever since. Their next joint film, the hilarious comedy Overboard (Garry Marshall, 1987) was a success. Other memorable films are the comedy Rocket Man (Roger Spottiswoode, 1986) starring Robin Williams, Big Trouble in Little China (John Carpenter, 1986) and Winter People (Ted Kotcheff, 1989).

Kurt Russell's career seemed to slip until he got the lead opposite Sylvester Stallone in Tango & Cash (Andrej Konchalovskiy, Albert Magnoli, 1989), as Patrick Swayze refused the role. Russell's role in Backdraft (Ron Howard, 1991) marked his comeback, while Dennis Quaid was the first choice for that role. He was the star of the Science Fiction film Stargate (Roland Emmerich, 1994) about a stargate that allows one to travel from one planet to another and back again. The blockbuster eventually formed the basis for the Stargate series in 1997 with Richard Dean Anderson in Russell's role. Russell returned as Snake Plisskin in Escape from L.A. (John Carpenter, 1996). He also co-wrote the screenplay with John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Another highlight in his career is Grindhouse (Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, 2007), split into two separate stories; Death Proof and Planet Terror. Tarantino directed Death Proof. Russell starred in Tarantino's Death Proof as the psychopathic Stuntman Mike who kills young women with his stunt car. He co-starred as Mr. Nobody in the action hit Furious 7/Fast & Furious 7 (James Wan, 2015), starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. He reunited with Quentin Tarantino for the Western The Hateful Eight (Quentin Tarantino, 2015) starring Samuel Jackson and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and the action film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Quentin Tarantino, 2019) with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Russell returned as Mr. Nobody in The Fate of the Furious/Fast & Furious 8 (G. Gary Gray, 2017), another smash hit, and F9/F9: The Fast Saga (Justin Lin, 2021). In 2017, Russell and Hawn received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a joint ceremony. That year, he was seen in the Marvel epic Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (James Gunn 2017) in the role of Ego. The following year, he played Santa Claus in the Christmas film The Christmas Chronicles (Clay Kaytis, 2018). Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn live on a ranch near Aspen. Russell has a son from his first marriage to Season Hubley, Boston Russell, and a son with Hawn, Wyatt Russell. He also has a stepdaughter and a stepson, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, the daughter and son of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson.

2017 XE Project 8 Fast and Furious VA67 KWR

This is a Development Version of the collector’s edition 2019 Model Year Jaguar XE SV Project 8.

Project 8 was announced in May 2018 as the ‘World’s Fastest Saloon’ based on the Jaguar XE, with 600 PS from a 5.0 litre Supercharged V8 engine and is the most powerful, road legal, Jaguar in history. Total production was limited to 300 cars worldwide, each one hand-assembled at the SVO Technical Centre in Warwickshire, England. Available in either ‘two-seat – Track Pack’ version or a ‘road-biased four-seater’ – both exclusively available in left hand drive. Prototype versions were tested at proving grounds across Europe including the Nürburgring Nordschleife achieving the fastest lap ever for a 4 door saloon car on the Nordschleife at 7 min 18.4 seconds. Project 8 also holds saloon car records at Laguna Seca (USA) and the Dubai Autodrome which means it holds records on three continents.

This car was built on Monday September 11 2017 as a VP (Verification Prototype) for project ‘Pembroke’ – the development name of Project 8. It was used as development and press car alongside its sister car VE67 OHR, which also resides in the JDHT collection.

In April 2018 it was tested at Goodwood Racing circuit by Legendary Jaguar sports car racers Andy Wallace and Davy Jones as part of launch activities surrounding Project 8. After a relatively short but hard life, the development cars were due to be retired from service and were destined to be scrapped.

VA67 KWR however was selected for a special project, and was heavily modified to appear in the action packed ninth-instalment of the ‘Too Fast Too Furious’ franchise, F9 – The Fast Saga. The rear seats were removed and modified to hide the fuel cell fitted in the back which required the floor to be removed so the fuel cell would fit. Sturdy metal framing was installed in the boot for the stunt driving the car would be subjected too. The car was fitted with dummy numberplates IJ49 2SG for the film, the portion of filming featuring this car was undertaken in Edinburgh.

After the film use, VA67 KWR languished outside in a compound at the Jaguar Land Rover facility at Fen End, Warwickshire, awaiting its fate. Rather than being crushed which was the end destined for most prototype test and development vehicles, the film history of this car was deemed important enough for it to be offered by Jaguar Land Rover to the JDHT for preservation. We accepted the gift and VA67 KWR was handed over to us on the 19th of January, 2021 although due to the COVID pandemic we were unable to collect the car for some time.

1972 Chevrolet Nova SS

Driven by Letty Ortiz

F9: THE FAST SAGA (2021)

Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he's going to save those he loves most.

His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high performance driver they've ever countered: a man who also happens to be Dom's forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).

This Chevrolet Nova SS is driven by Letty Ortiz in the final showdown in Edinburgh with Ramsey beside her and a powerful magnet to take out cars in Jakob and Otto's convoy.

The Chevy Nova was a compact competitor in the legendary American pony wars. While the 1960s and 1970s witnessed a fight between American automotive manufacturers to produce the fastest and most powerful muscle cars, the Chevy Nova was just right when it came to size, speed, and affordability. The car was first released in 1961 as two-door sedan, though roadster and station wagon variants were built later. The Nova Super Sport package included the 200 bhp 350 V-8 with power disc brakes, heavy duty suspension, dual exhaust, 14-inch wheels, SS emblems.

A visit to the British Motor Museum on the Early May Bank Holiday weekend.

The main event was the Gaydon Land Rover Show.

The British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England holds the world's largest collection of historic British cars, with over 300 cars on display from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and the Jaguar Heritage Trust.

The creation of the British Leyland Motor Corporation (BL) in 1968 saw the bringing together of multiple motor vehicle companies and marques (Austin, Jaguar, Morris, MG, Riley, Rover, Standard Triumph, and Wolseley). With many of the companies having their own collections of historic vehicles, in 1975 a centralised Leyland Historic Vehicles department was created to manage these. As the collection got ever larger, in 1983 BL created charitable trusts to ensure that these important collections, not only of vehicles, but of company archives too, would be preserved for the nation. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) was created, and under its umbrella, so were the Austin Rover Group Heritage Trust and the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. In 1990, following the acquisition of Jaguar by Ford, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection was moved to the Jaguar Browns Lane plant in Coventry. The Austin Rover Group Heritage Trust, which with the company by then having morphed into the Rover Group, became the Rover Group Trust, transferred its collection in its entirety to the BMIHT.

The collection, some of which was located at Syon Park, London, and the remainder being kept at Studley Castle, Warwickshire, continued to grow, and the BMIHT decided that a new building was required to house it all. With financial assistance from the Rover Group, and other benefactors, a large new facility was built, set in 65 acres (260,000 m2) of grounds, on the Rover Group's Gaydon site in Warwickshire (the former RAF Gaydon airfield), and opened as the Heritage Motor Centre in 1993. The trust's complete collection, which included more than 25 vehicles, was relocated to the new centre.

The museum became a Designated Collection when it was added to the "exceptional cultural collections" of the Arts Council England in December 2014.

In 2015, the museum was temporarily closed for a £1.1 million refurbishment and rebranding to take place. Additionally, a new £4 million two-storey Collection Centre was built to house the reserve collection of the trust. The museum was reopened on 13 February 2016 as the British Motor Museum. The new Collection Centre houses about 250 extra vehicles, and is used for both BMIHT and Jaguar Heritage Trust (formerly the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) cars.

Following Jaguar's decision to close their Jaguar Heritage Centre, a small selection of the Jaguar Heritage Collection has been on display at the Museum.

In 2003 more than sixty cars from the collection were auctioned off by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust; over forty more cars were sold off from the museum in 2006.
