London Fashion Week was back with lots more physical shows after two years of digital. Its certainly not the same watching it on a screen, the buzz of the fashion cant be replicated. I was glad to be back photographing some shows.
The LAN of Fashion was held at St Ethelburga in Bishopsgate a location I hadnt photographed before. There were seven designers showing their autumn / winter collection.

Shooting location: Paris - Carrousel du Louvre, under the christal pyramid, underground exhibition area.
In 2003 I took a flight on my own to Paris. Whenever it happens to travel alone, wondrous facts always happen to me.
That time I was able to enter the Ritz Hotel without having a reservation & spent a whole afternoon joyining all their services, included coffee shop with harp player & beauty centre. Becos, once you are in, if you succeed to enter, silver you are by all means a guest, even if you don't stay overnight ;-)
I think it helped the way I spontaneusly was dressed (Vintage '70's with a red cherry leather jacket, a bask leather hat, multicolour striped pants & a great Canon Powershot silver camera in my hands with remote control & auricolars). They might have taken me per a rock star or an important journalist. As I am an author & press officer & did alot of public & ghost writing, I propend more for the impossible, the rock star ;-)
Anyway, once at a Thursday evening opening of the Louvre, attired by a great acrylic sculpture by Gaetano Pesce, I turn around it to watch it from all angles &, once in the back, I found myself inside the Carrousel with some hostesses greeting me & gifting me a fashion book. I entered without any invitation & found myself inside one of the most glorious parties I attended in my life, celebrating the best 10 emerging fashion designers of that year. Catwalks & several huge megamonitors all over. Great sushi stands & all the possible international cuisine gourmet welcoming desks.
Hoshino Sadaharu has been the designer whose fashion creations I liked the most.
So I dared to ask him to pose for me & he did, impeccably.
In the background there is a photograph of his fashion. Lots of mannequins with his fashion creations were on exhibit too.
He is the conceiver of "The four seasons in One".
He's been of much inspiration for me, also for one of my videos.
His face has that "little something" making him extremelly fascinating, at my eyes at least.
The mouths I design in my planispheric face creations are frequently inspired to his own mouth.

So, for this theme I decided to take a risk and do something very real about myself and my possible future career. Its not that summer-ish (mainly because its winter in Brazil) but its something I really want to to this summer: get great grades in college this semester and sucessfully finish all the fashion design projects the teachers are creating like crazy.
