Mandy decided to have a Medieval themed Fancy Dress Party so we did. We got some music to and had a "blow" at the same time. There was some serious creative work going on here!
My Hero Arts clear stamp set (CL116 Fancy Scrolls) finally arrived yesterday, so I had to have a play and make something new. I decided to use two of the scrolls to create a flower and cut the shape around it. I added green gingham ribbon for the leafy bits as well as a green paper "ribbon" with the sentiment. Watercolor crayons added a bit of extra color to the flower, and the flower center is cut from a piece of decorative paper. The Hello stamp is from LP121 Bird Greetings
Of the few things that I will miss @ My job: the occasional free fancy plated breakfast, (and by occasional, I'm talking once every 2-3 weeks). And in case you're curious, this is also what Madaline Albright had for breakfast.
The waiters did not like having her there at all, because they didn't like her. They said she screwed everything up. "Too many democrats."
I have to say, there are few things more hillarious than watching a bunch of grown ass men pantomiming picking her up by her collar and coat-tails and throwing her out the door. Too bad I didn't get a picture of that.
