Opened in 1942 and still "rolling" in 2020! Trinidad,CO.

San Antonio,Texas. 7.16.2016.

This is 'Epico' The Dragon who was taking part in a family friendly outside theatre event in Hulls Queens Gardens for the Hull Freedom Festival.

The Park Theater opened in 1938 and I really can't say when it closed. In 1993 the theater was sold and the Liberty Opry was born, featuring country and western and gospel music. The Opry was a financial success and the theater was restored to its original look. The Opry was sold in 2005 and the shows continued. However, the impact of Hurricane Harvey (2017) that hit the Texas Gulf Coast drastically impacted ticket sales and the Opry went into decline as attendance lagged. The Opry was set to be sold in 2019 to an outfit that was going to turn it into an event center. The deal fell through and the Opry was going to shut it's doors. Once the public learned of the impending closure, they responded and the Liberty Opry is still in business in 2020. Nice. Liberty, Texas. 5.26.2012.

Visiting a zoo in tourist town during school holidays can be a trying experience. Shrieking little rugrats run under your feet, banging on glass and throwing junk food to the animals. And the parents shuffle around like zombies, making no attempt to restrain their little terrors.

At least it's fun watching the mums and dads squirm when their cherubs ask them what the big goats are doing.
