This is a foldable lorgnette ("folding glasses"). The two round lenses can be folded together by sliding them behind each other and opened when required.

1993 kam der allradgetriebene brandneue Libero SDX-SR von Subaru auf dem Markt. Obwohl er über insgesamt drei (faltbare) Sitzreihen (vorne auch drehbar auf Wunsch) verfügt, zwei Schiebetüren und Heckklappe und ein Glasschiebe- und Hubdach ist er immer ein seltener Gast auf Deutschlands Straßen gewesen. Und optisch ausgefallen und heute schon ein Hingucker ist er allemal.

Manchmal ist das Wetter so wechselhaft, dass man nur die falschen Schuhe wählen kann. So war es auch gestern als wir nach Travemünde gefahren sind. Regen wechselte sich ständig mit Sonne ab. Erst kalt, dann wieder richtig heiß.
Zum Glück habe ich super kompakte faltbare Gummistiefel. Die konnte ich einfach in den Fotorucksack packen und anziehen als es nötig wurde. Die sind auch noch super angenehm im weichen Strandsand zu tragen.
