Here is the funny story about this dress:

After the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade got rained out, I ran into AA to buy a (dry) dress to wear to get me home. I ended up with this striped dress which, unaided, is a little shapeless and bleah (it was one of their one-size-fits-all numbers).

As I was poking around the Lucky site yesterday, after I found all their how-to's (some helpful, some hysterical - "how to wear jewelry") I ran into the picture I've put in the comments below, of the girl in front of the white brick wall and decided to wear my dress the same way (but winterized). Kismet. Great. Worn similarly. Success.

So, when I uploaded this today, I can't find that picture anywhere. I figured I ran into it in their Outfit of the Day arena - nope. However, the first entry there is of this - THE SAME DAMN DRESS. How weird is that? And then I ran into a very similar dress in the same section...again.

Golden Jelly Skin 1999 Fall/Winter Collection

I bought this Swatch in 2002 and I've worn it maybe five times. It came into my life right when I was changing from wearing gold jewelry all the time to wearing silver jewelry all the time, so it ended up in the back of the drawer.

That makes me sad for this watch.
