One of my favorite shops in Morro Bay is the Cotton Ball and they have the most amazing fabric - wish I had a ton of money cause this was just a pinch of the wonderful textiles they have - did I mention I got a new sewing machine so I need new fabric to go with it LOL
The teenagers (those speedy little things) left a message for the rest of us at the top of the boulders (about mile 5).
Who: 43 parents and kids
What: A 12-mile hike/8 mile hike to the basin
Why: For extreme fun
How: One step at a time
Of course there was lots of cider. Every night hot Cider with cinnamon sticks and sparkling cider in the rooms!!! Loved it!!
Then there is much flinging of the leaves up in the air. But the sister won't play because the leaves are itchy.
Don't ask. I'll leave it at that @gnocchiman has the nicest friends ever. And no, the log didn't budge an inch.
So as with everything this Oct I'm late in posting these pictures.
We did do our annual Fall trip and so here's some of our fun things we did.
The kids had today off so I took them for a hike at Hacklebarney. What a beautiful autumn day! Sparkling water, dappled sunshine, turning leaves in so many colors. Despite a few falls and some terrible sibling bickering and hitting, it was overall a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. And takes lots of pictures of ourselves.
This was an amazing find today at the Grand California Hotel!! It's all made out of rice treats and fondant - Wow!!!
