I really liked mixing different types of fabric with Landa. The fluoro top creates a bright canvas for the black elements. I love the turtle-necked jumper, knitted as a net, which lets the colour shines through in a very dramatic way. the mini skirt, in wool, and the thigh-high boots are a great contrast for this 'pop' outfit.

India and Mama took a walk through the neighborhood, India brought her baby doll along in her stroller. She collected lots of beautiful things along the way, including pine cones, leaves and flowers. She some some amazing Halloween decorations and enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather. Our toddler was very excited to show her fall collection to Brubba and Daddy when they got home, and to tell them about her adventure! Most of my european fabrics are in, so I started in on this collection. Oh, the colors make me so happy. The quality of these fabrics are just amazing. I spent quite some time in the studio today--happy as a clam!

You were there waiting for me... the clasp of ecstasy of re-union shattered all longing; you placed me on the throne of your heart and made me immortal.
When i designed Crystal i wanted to create something versatile, with different pieces for differet occasions. Black skin-tight jeans can be worn with the silk tank for a casual day out - then you can get dressy with the gorgeous jacket closed by a knotted silk belt. I love the splashes of colour on the jacket, purple and yellow: you barely notice them but they add a note of happyness to this wintery look.
PHOTOGRAPHER NOTE: I named this picture based off of a small reference to a song we are singing in chorus. And while I know doing something like that is a rather cliche thing to do, I decided to do it anyway, because it sums up the mood of the image beautifully, and expresses the message well. Enjoy :)
