I tried to make a good photo of a fairytale forest for a long time. just a few trees in the picture is not good enough, the photo needs an appealing atmosphere. This is the result of my search for a true fairytale forest photo.

Hi dear Flickr-friends,
today I visited the witch Lugana in the enchanted forest. Oh man, we ate half the gingerbread house. We were talking about this and that and - rack zack - half the house was eaten. I repeat myself. Have I told you that I visited the witch? Oh man, I don't know what was in this gingerbread. I only remember that we were dancing with the broom after a while. I remember a song of the 70th, when you were playing in the sandbox. I was a boy. This song "The witch" from the Rattles was really scary. The witch laught so terrible.
I will do my best to implement you in my stories...;)

I was at this spot almost two years ago to the day, hoping to find the northern lights in this beautiful arctic forest. Unfortunately at that time the aurora was very weak and only barely visible with the camera and not with the naked eye.
This time it was entirely different. The aurora danced from dusk till dawn making for a great night in the forest.
The image was taken near Kuttura in Finnish Lapland.
