One of my wind chimes kinda disintegrated and fell apart....it was old....but i loved the little metal faeries so much, i wanted to recycle them somehow. So i have been stringing them with glass pearls and crystals and tiny bells...kinda shabby and simple but i still love the way they are turning out.....
Faeries invited me to shoot them as they worked in a church to remove old ductwork and make a space for their spring Faerie Faire
This was not supposed to be a free show. People gave donations and WTUL thought they were taking all the money. Big time miscommunication. What a bummer.
An Albatross also lost a van door (and almost a life) from a speeding driver leaving campus.
I am the leaf faerie, born of the earth and nourished by the elements of rain and sun. I herald the seasons, provide shelter to man and beast and tower even over the trees themselves. My lofty heights have inspired mortals to built cathedrals and small children to dance in an attempt to catch my leaves in their descent to the ground.
A cute faerie who loves to visit gardens filled with wysteria flowers. The original aceo is in the hands of an awesome collector.

My daughter Tara's faerie garden now has a home in a tree. We spied this faerie enjoying the sun on her balcony shortly after moving in...
Spinel Faerie is the first in a series of Gemstone Faeries. She is about 9.25 inches tall, and is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton fiber fill & thread, and Swarovski pearls. She will have natural black spinel on her dress. All the colors used represent colors of spinel. She is ball-jointed, and has 13 points of articulation.
