This is one of the shirts Natalie lost when her bag got stolen after we landed in Atlanta. Somehow this was my fault and she still has not forgiven me.
Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/
from a senior pic shoot yesterday.
super fun. we were on tap to do her senior pictures (smart young lady too--she just finished her first year (i believe) in college, and she's 17). i'd been on a tutu kick lately, so on a whim i asked her if she danced, and she had in the past, but still had her tutu! i proposed doing a shot in the get up, and she was totally down. How fun is that.
We shot quite a bit, but were still on a slight bit of a time constraint, so we'll pick it up again shortly :) In the meanwhile, wifey got upwards of 60-70 shots, and i went through a roll of 24 (in 3 minutes! lol) a roll of infrared, started some slide shots, and, (as pictured above) a few digital shots. i've found i can do the art fagish work, while wifey makes sure she gets shots that her family will appreciate. awesome team are we. :)

Doing some kind-of-faerie poses for fun :)
Maybe I'll use one of these photographs one day for inspiring myself writing tales... meanwhile I'm enjoying going outside and having fun posing for our amateur photography, he he :P
it's a butterfly, of course, but doesn't it look like those old fake pictures of fairies in the early days of photography?

Alluring, alien, soft and beautiful. Otherworldy. Would have fit right in on Pandora.
Gaze into the Columbine, and feel peacefulness flow over you.
I am going to be working on the triumphant return of my signature Faerie Spun Dreads over the next week or two... Does anyone have any requests? Are we looking for Wild Style, Rag Tag dreads or something along the lines of a more Natural, Faerie Kissed variety? Or, maybe, there is a certain character you would like to portray? Large sets? Small sets? Comments and suggestions are most welcome, my friends! xo~d.

Finally got some pics of my Amethyst Faerie, I just finished her hair a couple of hours ago. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton, and real amethyst beads for her ball-joints. Now she just needs a dress!
