NORBA race, Mammoth Mountain, CA.

This gal's horse got spooked by our bikes while waiting to cross the trail. The horse nearly bolted in front of us but all the riders in our group showed control and courtesy by slowing down and allowing the horse to cross. She gave us a thankful wave after dismounting and calming her pony.

Short clip of the 1st group near the bottom of the "big Hill" on 211.

The clouds rolled in again and made picture taking difficult with the low light conditions. This was basically a fuzzy shot that was too neat to discard. I went crazy with the Photoshop settings to produce something intersting.

I pulled off into a parking area to take photos and a video clip of our group coming down the hill. What a mistake that was! The lower portion of the ramp had eroded away and I dropped 4"-6" off the asphalt. Luckily no damage. Carol saw it and decide to wait on the shoulder. I only got this one photo and a clip for my troubles.

Our rest stop at the BP/7-11 in Front Royal. Bonus! They were giving out free food, bike towels, bike pucks and had stuff for the cages and kiddies too.

Climbing up Massanutten

Climbing 211 towards Skyline Drive, Dan zips past Leon. This is the last camera shot that came out. My left handed style of operating the camera accidently moved the function wheel to the review setting. I didn't take many more photos anyway- heavy gravel in both lanes suddenly appeared requiring both hands on the handlebars. But that didn't seem to slow down our adventure boyz up front.

A rest and re-group stop in Warrenton behind the famous ice cream stand.
