Thanks indeed everyone for your personal comments and also your support from selected groups.

Awards are encouraging and especially from those that add my work to their 'faves'.

The shot was taken on River Street in downtown Savannah,Georgia's historic district. The street shown here is in an area called Factors Walk where there are a series of iron walkways connecting businesses on two or three story buildings.Back in the the mid- 1850s,Savannah was the leading exporter of Savannah for the entire world. There were men who were responsible for setting prices for cotton and other exports called "factors",hence the area's name.

There are also ghost tours conducted in Factors Walk because, supposedly, there have been sightings of paranormal, dark shadowy figures from times past lurking about its streets 👻

These ships are the shrimp kotters WR 12 and WR 212 in the fishing harbor of Den Oever. The WR 12 is in the dock for maintenance. See the painter. The WR 212 just arrived in the harbor. See both fisherman cleaning the nets so that the nets can dry. Both ships were built in 2017 and delivered in 2018. Den Oever, 2019.

It's been a while since I've been able to edit photos I've taken, the biggest factor being not having an operative laptop for the better part of six months, however I finally purchased a new one and now begins the editing of the backlog of images I have

A stunning flower both yellow and orange, a glorious mixture.

Everyday I have the pleasure and privilege of working with beauty.

It is a voyage of discovery, working forensically on flowers, new things every day.

Nature at its very best.

I love Ranunculus, densely layered, and this bloom opened beautifully, not always evident, their stems are extremely delicate and do tend to just collapse before the bud can open into a gorgeous voluptuous bloom...

With love to you and thanK you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

As the story goes.

I'm in my rental, staring at a nice set of signals, codeline, and overall pleased. I patiently wait for whatever NB awaits my lens, figuring it will be a deathstar or a somewhat orange noodle. With the crew on duty at 0500, I knew it was just a matter of time. In the distance I hear a rather sickly horn go about its duty, and immediately my mind starts wondering just what it could be. I DID, truly, hope for it to be the last BLE road engine on the home roster, but I also told myself to get realistic. It's probably just a wrecked P5 or something like that.

Well, as it got closer, I definitely didn't hear the classic 710 whine, and with the anticipation rising to levels reminiscent to New Orleans circa 2005 I needed not wonder anymore.

Bam, It's orange as hell and leading!

Now I needed to remember what I came to accomplish, so I steadied my aim amid my shock and awe, and proceeded to unload. I also snapped a few shots in the process.

That's two BAM's now, boys! You missed it, went right by ya..

In all seriousness, what a great "beginners luck" example that I haven't had much lately. As much as intel is needed in this hobby, the surprise factor is still undefeated. With that said, a big shout out to the few people that helped point this CSX idiot in the right direction, I always appreciate it.

Como nota en ningún momento el
