While on a neighbourhood walk yesterday, this lovely Monarch decided to land fairly close to me, facing the morning light.
Thank you so much for your visits and comments, they're very appreciated! Have a great day!
The hellebore chose to face the ferns rather than the lens. That's okay, it's pretty on the backside too. This was taken at an indoor display at "The Leaf."

I've been trying to get an image like this over the past couple of weeks so I was pleased to get the right conditions on a brief visit to Big Moor after work this evening. The young stag was with a group of three hinds. I had to get it almost perfectly lined up with the setting sun and shoot straight into the light to get this image, whilst trying not to blind myself.
And no light on the rear... :)

As the wood meets the meadow and the morning sun does its best to burn away the morning mist a blanket of soft but strong light shines across the meadow lighting up the edge of the wood. It was this light that has allowed me to get so many great images from this part of The Hangings at Whiteleaf, Buckinghamshire and something I hope I will be rewarded with again.

Since the Covid-19 became pandemic infection, Taiwan has been done very well to prevent the Covid-19. Unfortunately, the virus burst out from the hostess tea houses in Taipei City these days and became a very severe outbreak. We will face it and let the world know we can do it in the next 2 weeks. Why I have such confidence? There is no any lockdown was announced by government but I almost can't see any one in the streets or public these days, and my old friends seldom come to see me now. :-)
