After the learn comes the fun: Eyas Project!!.

What fun! Sitting at my garden table, holding camera in one hand, berries in the other, dipping them in water and trying to find the right height, distance, angle, while squinting through the viewfinder. And all in the seconds before the drop dropped. Multitasking, it felt like. Manual focus, so move the berries, and then the camera to find focus. Oh! That Sony camera did get to feel heavy.

Then suddenly all three drops came together, with good images. I'd got it!! Push the button -- Oh B*l*a*h!!! I'd run out of memory. So this one will have to do for the moment.

Actually some of the images that appeared on my monitor were much more interesting. Lucky catches of drops just about to drop. Not something I could do deliberately. There was only one flower. (See below.)

And I hadn't realised I was also taking pictures of my house.

Try it Large On Black to see the fourth refraction between two berries.

"Fox Fun 03" by Patti Deters. A female red fox (Vulpes vulpes) and her kit pup play together on the lawn one early morning. The little juvenile, really still just a baby, tumbles and rolls around in the green grass trying to wrestle and get the better of his momma by using all four legs to grab and push against her. The mom takes a short break from playing to make sure the photographer (me!) is keeping her distance (I am). If you like this wildlife photograph, please share or see more (animals, outdoor, nature) at patti-deters.pixels.com/featured/fox-fun-03-patti-deters.....

After the learn comes the fun: Eyas Project!!.

We did some photos, for our Game-Based-Learning project.

Benni cut them out to make them look like those in the Wii commercials, but funnier :D

Little sisters, Ola and Zosia in action ;-)

It maybe a bit cold in the sea for me this year....but this guy is enjoying himself !!!

I met this fun guy, along with quite a large number of his party-going friends, in a secluded area of a churchyard in South Belfast, so I shot him with a Fujifilm X-T50, which is no more than he deserved.

The neighbors are at it again, setting up this sweet still life, pool, balloons & all! So much fun... hope it makes you smile like it did

Las Vegas Boulevard aka the Vegas Strip of casinos - Las Vegas, Nevada.

Another dark and windy day. But I rented a fun and faster camera making it imperative to go outdoors to play!

And what a joy to focus!* After practicing on the tiny finches and the flocks of Red-winged Blackbirds, I aimed at a raven or a crow. I think the beak resembles that of a Northwestern Crow. (In today's light the black feathers look more bluish.)

"The Northwestern Crow may be only a subspecies of the American Crow. The two are extremely similar, differing just in size and voice. In the Puget Sound area a number of intermediate crows can be found, and just what species is the common one there is difficult to determine." allaboutbirds.org

Thanks for looking! So sorry the bird points south. Must go chase the last bit of light.

* NB As a young teenager, a casual ophthalmologist helped my eyes deteriorate. Hence joy when things work.

Dann hat man alles aus dem Kopf und endlich wieder Ruhe

How can "fun size" be fun when two of them fit in one macro photo? Having a fun-sized Snickers is not enough when I'm not my fun self.

there's always fun to be had when shopping with these two

A candid street portrait of a young beautiful lady who pops soap bubbles in the street, laughs and enjoys the process. May the happiness be with her.

Sometimes I like to jazz-up a pic purely to make it somewhat different to the norm. Roses are always beautiful 'au naturelle' but I liked the impact of the colourful effect on this one.

My go to post processing is usually done with Paintshop Pro , but I used 'Smart Photo Editor' for this pic. They have hundreds of instant artistic effects to choose from, which themselves can be altered/ adjusted to your own taste. They are effects that have been submitted by the site's users. It's great fun and gets the creative juices flowing.
