The camera set up used to take solar eclipse photos. At the end of the Tamron 18-400 lens is a Thousand Oaks solar filter, which worked perfectly. Camera body is a Nikon Z5 with the FTZ adapter in place.

 

Notice the partial eclipse on the flip-out viewfinder, taken toward the end of the eclipse. This setup was clearer than the eclipse glasses.

 

Taken in an area of only 96% totality.

Tested next with Sigma S 150-600mm f/5.0-6.3 and found it to work better that I believed it would.
