A fun little macro shot of some pansies (I think) from my wife's hanging basket. I hadn't had the macro lens out for some time and wanted to see how it worked adapted to the Z7. I'm sure it's not as nice as the new Z mount 105mm but I think the F mount version seemed to hold up quite well using the FTZ.

Am 28. April 1989 wurden die Prototyplokomotiven 217 001 und 217 002 offiziell zu „Bahndienstfahrzeugen für den innerdienstlichen Zweck“ erklärt, womit eine Änderung der Nummern in 753 001 und 753 002 einherging. Beide Lokomotiven waren bereits seit 1974 häufig für Test- und Messfahrten im Zusammenhang mit der Erprobung von Fahrzeugen herangezogen worden, um zum Beispiel als Bremslok zu fungieren. Die Umbenennung hatte daher rein formellen Charakter.
Seit dem 01.07.2006 war 217 001 / 753 001 beim FTZ (Forschungs- und Technologiezentrum) Minden, welches im Zuge der Bahnreform aus der Bundesbahn-Versuchsanstalt Minden hervorging, beheimatet.
Am 01. Und 02.05.2009 wurde 753 001, die seit dem 05.06.2007 wieder ihre alte Loknummer 217 001 trägt, zur Überführung von SBB RBDe 560040 und 560015 von Minden nach Basel Bad. Bf. eingesetzt.
Als RBDe 4/4 wurden die Triebwagen der Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen bezeichnet, die ab 1984 für die als Neuer Pendelzug bezeichneten Regionalzugskompositionen angeschafft wurden. Sie tragen seit 1990 die Baureihenbezeichnung RBDe 560 sowie, im Fall der daraus hervorgegangenen Unterbauarten, RBDe 561 und RBDe 562.

217 001 ist inzwischen seit über 10 Jahren aufgrund eines Motorschadens ausgemustert und befindet sich als nicht betriebsfähiges Ausstellungsstück in der Eisenbahn Erlebniswelt in Horb.
Lamb's Conduit Street, Bloomsbury. The Lamb is a Grade II listed pub at 94 Lamb's Conduit Street, in the London Borough of Camden, London.
The Lamb was built in the 1720s, refurbished in the Victorian era and is one of the few remaining pubs with 'snob screens' which allowed the well-to-do drinker not to see the bar staff, and vice versa. There is also a large working Victorian clockwork music box in the corner which plays tunes by spikes on a metal disc picking notes.
Charles Dickens lived locally and is reputed to have frequented The Lamb. Other writers associated with the pub include Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath. Hughes, as a regular at the pub, arranged to meet Plath there in the early days of their relationship.

Watching the Bluejays swoop in, pretending to be hawks, and swooping away with food is always entertaining. On our snowy day, they weren't too aggressive and let me get some nice photos.

The Konica has vintage character but still works nicely with the Nikon Z5 at full frame. Beautiful colors aren’t they?

Am 16. Oktober 2018 wurde ein Messwagen des FTZ Minden Westf. der Art Dienstüm 313 an das DB Museum Koblenz übergeben. Um den Wagen zu Überführen trat die E03 001 den Weg nach Minden an. Die Aufnahme bei Herford-Stedefreund entstand auf der Rückfahrt als Lr 5465 von Minden Westf. nach Koblenz-Lützel mit dem Wagen (6380 99-92 008-1) im Schlepp.
