My daughter was given this hat a few weeks ago. It stayed on her head for about 10 days, and has just been replaced by a santa hat!

I believe this is a 2nd owlet. Takes after Frack with a rounder head & less noticeable ear tufts. Still possible there was only 1 baby since I never got to see 2 little heads at the same time & have not seen any babies since fledging but most times there are several babies in there.

I drew the dog first, then the face. They weren't meant to "go together" but oh, well.

Deep in the forests of Norway, 5 brave shield maidens have set off on their way to the legendary statue of their goddess Freya. The evening dawns and as the sun sets they reach their destination.

The approaching night is just right for their planned ritual; they urgently need Freya's divine and martial power to support the defense of their village.

The Nikon D800 partnered with the Sigma 35mm lens. This is one of those last images of the shoot as the light was fading by this stage. I think I posted this image a few months ago and then removed it. I came back to it last night, had another go at editing and here we are.

ISO 400 / f2 / 1/80th. There is a strobe with brolly somewhere off to the right or back right from memory, but those settings suggest it isn't doing much.
