Caught this hummingbird buzzing in mid-air and stopped the action at 1/1600 sec to show you how fast their wing beat can be. As the light dropped off behind it - it provided for just the right bokeh to show it off.

Natures Tapestry Photo Adventure Tours will be leaving next week for the Pantanal, Brazil.
One of my favorite species to see is the Hyacinth Macaw. It is a vibrant cobalt blue and can be seen soaring the skies . Born Free. What an awesome sight. Their color is so electric when the sun shines down on them and it almost takes your breath away,

Whilst Rosie was being chased full pelt by Lexie around a shrub in Rob's front garden we all had a great time for the twenty minutes complete freedom she had this day.
She's so light and agile and curious and overflowing with life, she jumps every fence and gate we put up or continuously modify before her. Very sadly, we have to tie her up in the orchard several times during the day so that she cannot threaten the lambs still being born amongst Rob's neighbours.
She does get a very long walk down the fields with me and another dog every day. I take the pups down in pairs on long leads so they can run and dig in the hedgerows
Here, free, she was life before my eyes. :-)
