The New Walk Centre in Leicester was the City Council’s headquarters since the mid-70s and the twin-towers, being among the city’s tallest buildings, have been a landmark feature on the skyline all of my life. For people living and working close to the buildings, they’ve been an unsightly b...

So you want to hear something stupid? I dropped my light meter just before I took this shot. Ran down the stairs and fetched it from the sidewalk. Seems just fine. Highly recommend the Sekonic L-308S. It's idiotproof.

Having started photography on film I felt I should learn to develop before it gets too late and film is gone forever! So late last year I shot my first roll of film since 2008 and I have just bought a scanner to bring the results to life.
This was shot on Ilford FP4+ and developed at 23 degrees in Ilfosol 3. It's probably a little more grainy due to the high temperature of Australian summer evenings, but I guess there is nothing I can do about that now!
I'm still learning, and many of my shots (like this one) so far seem to have marks in the sky, presumably where the development has become a little uneven for some reason. If anyone knows why this could happen or a suitable remedy then I would love to know!
Buy film not megapixels people!

Just been scanning some new Franka pictures, but when I have just scanned them they are not what I want. Then I went back to previous rolls and found this one. No doubt I didn't like it either when I scanned it, but now I do.
